Air Conditioning Intallation
« on: January 08, 2018, 01:03:16 PM »
Hi all,
can anyone suggest a person or company that can install an air conditioning unit in to my apartment. It is for 1 room about 17sq mtrs and I am looking for a split air conditioner where the condenser is sited outside. If you have any idea of cost that would be helpful as well.
Thanks

You could try Solosat based in Mojacar.   They were recommended to me by a Vera Playa holiday home lettings company who use Solosat for all air conditioning work.  The other  advice I was given was to plan to get any work done before (or after) the summer months, the time of peak demand for a/c repairs, servicing and installation.

I intend to use Solosat in March to service my a/c units.

Regards, Roy

Hi,  when we installed our aircon in our apartment last July, we used Digital Vision based in Mojacar after reviewing several companies, prices and customer reviews. Ross and Danny provided great service. If you want an email address and phone number just let us know.

I used Tony Cooper of ABC from Turre, on the recommendation of my builder. 0034 950 092 604,0034  647 247 494.
I found the costs reasonable,& the attention to detail very good. My system has been working well since.
I think that there several good air-conditioning specialists around here. Also, there a few who really overcharge!

Thanks all, I ended up using Tony from ABC, as per the recommendation. He was excellent. Very professional, knew exactly what he was doing and reasonably priced. The job was complete from start to finish in 3 hours.

I realise the original poster has already used ABC for his AC, but I would also recommend Digitek Mojacar for anyone else looking to get AC installed. Fast service and a really clean job done.

Yes, it would be interesting to know costs. I have not got a clue how much it would cost to have aircon fitted so some indication would be welcome. Thanks.

Depends on the marque wanted, & if the installation is new, or simply replacing old units. They seem to range from 550 to 850 euros per unit, depending on previous comments . I have not found the need for expensive Toshiba units here in Vera Playa . There are a lot of good installers around. As I said above, I was recommended ABC & found them very good.

Thank you Hotrod is that the cost of the units plus installation or the total installed cost of each unit.
Just looking for rough costs so we can work out some sort of budget.

Best regards chris and Vee

We paid €650 for an LG system and installation (replacing a defunct set so no tubes or wires to run).

We used  Cristobal Ruiz <pulsatronic@gmail.com> He is Spanish with sufficient English for us to get the job done. He had previously sourced and replaced a pcb in a unit that was already discontinued by the manufacturer. Hope that helps,

We, too, had Cristobal install our air con units. He's also good with television on the urbanisations and a naturist  !!:)
