Trains
« on: July 31, 2016, 01:44:57 PM »
Does anyone know when the train schedule for Sept 19 will open up for trains from Seville to Almeria? We are waiting to make this final booking. The schedule is there up to the 18th, but nothing for the following week. Thanks.

You can usually make bookings on the Renfe website at least 8 weeks ahead; sometimes it is much longer, sometimes shorter.  I suggest you also try www.loco2.com  They get their data from Renfe but I have occasionally found you can book further ahead on that site than with Renfe.

I called ACP this morning and even they don't know what is going on. LOCO2 gave me a 9 hour ride from Seville back to Madrid then on to Almeria. I'd prefer a more direct route like what is shown for Sept 18th, even if it is a slow train with lots of stops. But it is not open yet for the 19th. I'll keep checking for the 19th, but we may have to cut our trip short in Seville and come the 18th. Thanks.
