Goodbye Jean Claude
«

It is with great sadness that I am telling you about the death, on Tuesday, of our lovely Jean Claude, 'Head of Entertainment' at Tiggers Bar for many years. We'll never forget his joyful attitude to life, pointing to the sea "Look there, that is my Monet", or his unsuccessful plans to have a holiday in South America, sadly thwarted by a lack of money, but consoling himself with the thought "Puerto Rico? / Puerto Rey? it's all good, man!" Having a small brandy to get over the shock, "Here's to you, Jean Claude, Mon Ami"

Any details concerning a service would be appreciated. I know we are all honoured to have been blessed with his friendship.

So sad to hear this news. We only knew him as a part of Tiggers over many years, but he was a likeable character, always welcomed us and chatted to us when we went there, and he was very well known by all regular visitors to VP.
RIP Jean Claude

Jean Claude & Tiggers I will always remember. Alas nothing lasts forever, sadly missed by all who knew him. One of life's true gentlemen.

Raise a glass to his memory, Tiggers (now Inna's) 6pm Saturday. 5pm YSS in Yorkshire there'll be at least 12 of us.

We are very sorry to hear this sad news. He was such a nice, friendly guy and he made us very welcome in Tiggers. He told us great stories of his life and we missed him when we were there in May this year. He will be greatly missed
